Dub step etc. And so when to we submit the GIMPs and where is the operating manual? I have some Orgasmic pics ready to go But Not that I am hesitant to Submit if not in line with the theme/purpose....Artistic merit is still important... and icu orgasms are not to be taken lightly... So, getting readjusted to "normal" life after chaperoning ( does not mean sobering up :-) ). Have I missed much? Any time frame yet on when to create and submit things?

RE: EPIC Project or...
Sorry it's been crazy for me and Napalm. First I resigned, now that's being postponed for a month at least. More f&%#king health problems. Side jobs, looking for a new job, and working full-time to transition the job I'm not transitioning just yet (I need t get more tests... of course, to decide my fate).
I'll come up with a game plan by end of week. Still recruiting. "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge." - Stephen Hawking |

RE: EPIC Project Chatter
Concerning one's own personal entry into this here thingy:
Is it possible to create a bigger than maximum image that then gets panned as part of the rollercoastering? like mayhaps an image that is maximum width but much longer/taller, with the virtual camera eye scanning up or down as seems best for continuity? Or a long image that needs a bit of scrollifying? Or a too-big image that gets shrunk down at first and then blowed up so only a piece of it is in frame? I am not entirely up on the tech for this, but I can think of several ways it could be done...and one of my images is big and portrtait-scaled and I don't want to lose all the detail in the sweat and the fur and the chains and the keys and the clouds and the stars and such. |

Think of it like a jigsaw puzzle with 2 or 3 pieces. I don't have an issue with 1 longer image (beyond one frame whether scrolling or zooming) because after we collect the images we would need to create 'transitions' anyway between frames and you are essentially creating your own transition with a larger pic. My only concern is that we not have too many of these because it limits narrative flow and how these images 'play' and interact with one-offs that stick to the 1920x1080 guide. But I think the group is small enough that we can have several larger images in the mix. Hope this makes sense. RE: EPIC Project Chatter
I am very glad that the deadline is mid-July... I've been totally consumed with photography and have had literally no inspiration as far as photoshop is concerned..
I'll get it together, though. I do love working large, so that's a plus... As for that blank spot in the middle, are we supposed to post as .png or what? |

It doesn't have to be blank because we'll make a transition image to zoom from on image to the next. But you can't make a pic that filled every noon & cranny with detail. Not hard really - most shops have some open space in them. "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge." - Stephen Hawking |
