Wow... I, for one, loved your entry. It really fit the theme well, and was executed very well.

Both my wife and I thought mine was "busy" and I went so far as to spend another 2 hours GISing other potential Army Ant ideas... none made me as happy as the entry did, so I eventually decided to stand on mine. Had mine been as clean and sharp as yours was, I'd never have bothered with trying a second idea out. The ONLY critique I could even make is your plane's nose art was too fake... a little blending mode or a touch of opacity and it would have been a perfect image.

Again, I'm sorry you feel the way you do, but it sounds like it's for the best... how about an H2H when this is all over?

I liked both your entries.

EC - Your entry reminded me of the work TGU did - subtle, simple, technically excellent, and dead on to the theme. I wouldn't know subtle if it hit me across the head with a 2x4. The worst contest defeat in Squirrel-land came when TheGreatUnwashed wiped up the board with me.

Subtle is an art that not all of us can do. So please don't go bashing yourself. I gave you my 2nd highest score. And Yugoboy, busy maybe but they are army ants and your busyness was consistent and funny. I loved your entry - it was perfect for the theme. And you received my only 10.

At least you both picked insects. I feel like an idiot. I'm lucky you folk are kind to mentally challenged.

I'm not angry or anything. I just wasn't happy with what I created. Just one of those things guys. Not self hate or anything like that.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure I hit all three of my guesses this round too :-)

I called like I saw it. I thought your entry was Supdog's style.
When I posted the round three results on my facebook page I used your pic as the thumbnail because it was the clearest in that small size.
