Recreate a Classic Collaboration

To all participants -
For returning finished pieces, there's basically 2 choices: email or PM.

PM works just fine, but if you want to use email, it turns out I screwed up the address in the PM you got your piece in (I dropped an "o" somewhere) - check out the email our glorious Alpha Squirrel sent last night for my email address.

Calling all Misfits!
I'm ready and itching to do another Classic Collaboration if you are!

I got a good busy image by a somewhat famous artist. I'll take up to 9 collaborators (image size isn't quite what the last one was, but it's still pretty big). It's Saturday night 6/4. Whoever's in by late evening Friday 6/11 (EST) will get a chunk in their mailbox before I hit the sack Friday night.

All are welcome to play in this sandbox. If there's a huge outpouring, maybe we can do the image twice. If there's at least 12 people who want to play, I'll split the image into the requisite pieces and we'll do the same image in parallel.

So, if you're not in the first 9, still let me know in this thread and if we get 12 or more, I'll make it work.

Hey. Just stopping in to say what a nice job Yugoboy did in setting up the 1st collaboration. I also want to offer kudos to the great entries by all the contributors.

I've increased file dimensions again... now the max image is 1000px wide by 1500px tall. We really need to keep the width max fixed at 1000px so folk don't have to play around so much with browser settings and resolution. But increasing the height allows for nicer portrait views, which seems to lend itself well to this exercise.

OK, mine's done and emailed, Yugoboy. It was great fun, and I'm anxious to see how the completed piece looks. BTW, the little piece I worked on doesn't look familiar at all. So the finished piece will be a surprise all the way around.

He's offered it up to anyone who wants to give it a go...

I asked him to keep an eye on this thread in case no one does, but it's out there...
