Re: Alphabet Tennis - I (again)
"Create, organize, and play your own one-off contests"
I think that's the point; we do it. I'll look, time allowing (like I won't make it) at werk tomorrow. As mentioned elsewhere, I'm gone this weekend, but will contribute whatevers clever, if able to be found. CHOP ON! Actually... it may be best to wait 'till the 'tourney is over seein as how it's now TECHNICALLY Wed & it goes live on Thurs... lets search for O's and have another round after the Grand Insanity is over. Did you forget? Right now we're supposed to be stocking up on brushes and stuffs while drinking/drugging heavily in preparation (I'm doing some of those things, ONLY to fulfill my obligations though). |

Re: Alphabet Tennis - I (again)
I noticed that GbyPandas included a reference to the misfit squirrels in his starter.
Just wanted to make sure there were no requirements for a contest. Well everyone is away for the weekend, hope there is some kind of new mini. |

Re: Alphabet Tennis - I (again)
This was the first Alphabet tennis in a long time that didn't start the source image as an "A" item.
Worked out awesome, BTW... you guys are naturals at this (I was wondering how the n00bs would do). Generally, the first image is lightly Photoshopped to get it started. For me, in the past, I would download a huge image pertaining to my "A" (Apple, Asian, etc) and then 'shop in a sign or something related to Mr Squirrel (former site host). "Mr Squirrel's Apple Orchard" in front of an apple orchard for example (previous iterations still exist (I hope) on TOSS for now. You'll notice GbyP did something less dramatic to the first image here by putting the Misfit "M" on the sailboat. If you want to start a new one, pick an image, give it a Misfit Squirrels twist and set it loose in a New Thread in this forum. This idea was originally proposed by wavion in the PSAEF, but it was way harder as a TF-only thread (and I kept screwing it up, so my apology was to resurrect the idea at TOSS, which seems to have been somewhat successful.) |
