H2H: Yugoboy vs Don Write - Voting Live

RE: H2H: Yugoboy vs Don Write - Voting Live
Hey you other Misfit Squirrels out there. Will you please take a minute and vote for either of the two fine contestants? If this ends in a tie it totally messes up the H2H experience...Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Remember kids: A pixel is a terrible thing to waste.

Umm... I haven't voted.

Let the bribes begin!!!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Seriously, I generally don't vote. We have had numerous H2Hs end in the tie. Every frickin' time I play dsclink, it's a tie. If it ends in a tie, I'll give you all a challenge and you can play again. Then by the time you are done, the "H2H that never ends" will have ended and we can have our round-robin mini-tourney.

See? This is why I make the big bucks here.

I like GbyP's idea... I've used the only good "O" in the queue already... (we haven't gotten nearly enough good warpable "o"s lately)

at least I wouldn't have lost this one (I've only won one of these things... a tie is just as good with my current record...)

RE: H2H: Yugoboy vs Don Write - Voting Live
I actually like the fact that this one is a tie. I had a hard time deciding which to vote up because I liked them both. I voted for one, but felt like I also did a disservice to the other. With the tie I feel better about it because both were given their due.

RE: H2H: Yugoboy vs Don Write - Voting Live
Don't get me wrong. I got 4 more votes than I expected after seeing Yugo's entry! I am fine with a second opportunity to have my butt... I mean, round.

So for scheduling purposes you should know that I will be away from my computer from the 11th -16th. Can we do this thing once I get back? Say... the 18th - 23rd? Perhaps that will help us know which doom (GbyP or TV_News) we will face!

Sounds like a plan. My this week is wide open, but my next week I expect to be very stressful. Very. If my muse hasn't been totally battered into pulp by the stress, I'll be very surprised.

Ohhh... I was hoping for bribes. Why do I always have to come up with a plan B??? Stupid Pandas - stop guiding me!!!

AHEM!! OK. How bout I post an O today then you have until the 23rd to post - Yugo can work on it this week and Don Write the next and then you can both post on the 23rd. That will give tv_news_guy and I a week to recuperate from our grueling duel. Then we can all rumble in the doddecahedron ring for top Squirrel honors.

A plan?

Also, this contest hasn't had an entry since January... it's lonely and has been actively weeping in my presence. For the love of all things misfitty, have a heart folks and contribute an X, Y, and Z!

I thought I'd give the thread a shot. I went to it and unless due to the bad economy W was laid off, the last letter played was V by me. Please, for the love of all that is good, give W a chance, someone pick up this Alphabet Tennis so we can finish it off.

I like the plan. As ong as Don's in, let's do it.

Wait for his OK, though... if he's got a different idea, I don't want to pressure him.
