Are you ready for some Mayhem?

I shared this with one Squirrel prior to the round - personally I was rooting for everyone but me.

The pics just justified my enthusiasm:
- Supdog - who has been here supporting the Squirrel sites and these contests from the start displaying exceptional skill in each and whom in round 3 I thought displayed flying animals better than I did AND used traditional photoshop methods to do so;
- impishimpi - who has consistently created some of the most beautiful pics I have ever seen (period) and held true to form for Round 3;
- Vortex Dweller - the dark-horse victor who created a simple, beautiful, and effective image that was photo-perfect and as beautiful as any photo in his portfolio (my Muses fave entry btw);
- and Yugoboy - who has displayed incredible growth over the last few years into one of my favorite artists; his Round 3 entry was funny, but loved his 1st round pic and gushed over his perfect 2nd round entry.

In my book you are all winners and don't need a tourney to prove it. So I knew I would be happy with any victor above. And although happy (and stunned) re: the outcome, I must say I feel kinda weird since I'm the guy who started the site and who sat out of these events since 2008.

This probably doesn't need to be said - but why stop now - Nothing is more important to me than these contests being on the up & up. The reason we give out ballot IDs is so that if there is a dispute, we can verify vote to person and validate results. So if anyone feels uneasy about the results, please feel free to ask dsclink to have him show you the results. Since I was a player, I don't need to know about your request. But know this - I will not take offense in the least.

Like I said, probably didn't need to be said, but I feel stunned...did I mention that? But honored.

And very grateful to be in the company of so many fine Squirrels.
