OK... I finally got an idea for the "me" image... unfortunately, I doubt I'm going to have an obvious open space without the image being hurt in some way. I'm OK with the transition going anywhere in my image.

The warning to the world should be easy, but the GIS may be more difficult than I would like.

I'm not sure if I can get to the dream or not.

and no, I haven't been lurking... I've been ridiculously busy...

I think I've had the busiest summer ever in my whole life, but I am looking forward to seeing how this project is gonna come together.

I just had two bottles of Guinness and they were MUCH needed!

Wow... busy Summer here too! I'm going to be in Idaho the next 4 days. When I return, full blast in to this project. I've got lots of pics to post from the PSC folk. And we got a couple more folk to join in.

I just have been super busy.. pretty much since declaring this project. lol. Of course. lots of paid effort and working on 3 promising side projects that can help me transition into doing what I love for my final chapter.

I haven't photoshopped on a contest site since June.

So I'm sorry I've stepped away from here, but as long as I live I'm a Misfit Squirrel! That's never going to change.

If being away from here didn't mean a significant improvement in my life, I'd be here 24x7. I know I've asked a lot, but I'm going to ask for a few days longer.

Project not dead... as long as I breathing. Two states this year: insanely busy and insanely sick. Been sick x 2 weeks, couldn't see M-W this week. Went to post pics Weds night and they did server update and updated a key folder away so I couldn't fTP the images. Sigh. THat's fixed now. Will try to upload today... if i can stay awake.

THE EPIC Project Image thread LINK

The link takes you to a thread displaying the inline versions (960x540) of the images you created, submitted, or allowed me to select on your behalf.

As of 10/7/2012, the only outstanding images are from dsclink and myself.

All of these images were templated off the 1920x1080 Masters. [I've retained copies of the Masters offline, but am looking to post them in a gallery and present them in a slideshow**].

Where participants submitted a letterbox image, the vast majority fill the image box. Where the submitted image did not naturally fill the video dimensions, I added gradient vertical borders of complimentary color.

For those of whom I selected images, if you have a personal preferred image you would like to swap out or a better quality original, please contact me at guidedby@misfitsquirrels.com and we'll make arrangements.

Next Steps
1. Complete submissions. I hope to complete 2 of 3 on 10/7 and the 3rd in the next couple days.

2. Decide the order and nature of the narration.
I've posted them alphabetically by handle - and maybe that's fine. But we still need to determine which should be scrolled into or drilled down into.

3. Then I (and maybe a couple volunteers) create bridge images linking the images through the narration.

** MisfitSquirrels is getting close to max allocated space. However, once the Leaderboard is deactivated, that will free nearly 3GB. I'll either set up a slideshow on my site or move the Leaderboard (or get more space!).

Exciting! Most of these images are new to me and they are all worthy. I can see some interesting transitions and connections already -- there are a number of great eye pictures, for instance.

Looking forward to the next stages.
