RE: Primary Images
I don't think I mentioned it, but the first was my self-portrait, and here's a dream:
![]() I believe I finished the warning/prophesy today, but want to sit on it for a bit...

RE: Primary Images
OK, right off I have to confess that all of these are adapted lightly from old work. I may or may not get opportunity and inspiration to make new chops before the deadline -- some travel and work are going to intervene -- so I figured I should post something here now. I'll update/change, possibly, before the deadline.

Besides, this will make me feel better with my all Bigfoot set.
Bigfoot? I know that guy! When was the last time you did something for the very first time? |

RE: Primary Images
DonWrite: the contrast on your monitor is too high. I'm assuming you meant to have a solid black background in that image, yes? And I assume it looks so on your screen? But on mine there is a very obvious border between your two source images - a darker black on the right and a lighter green-ish black on the left.

Let me know if this is better. I still can't get the bright/contrast to my satisfaction...

RE: Primary Images
Hello. I'm still alive. I had surgery a couple weeks ago and a complication arose. So I had been out of commission for a bit. I seem to have 2 modes this year: ultra busy and very sick. So there is a good possibility I will extend to End of August. I really didn't intend that the time to complete would be epic, but fate has dictated otherwise. I should be able to spend more time here starting next week (and maybe this weekend).

Video Contributions by Toots de la Footsjelly:
Who I Am: ![]() Exit Door: ![]() Earth Warning: ![]() Toots wanted to play. I told him I would be honored and would resize his images for him. I didn't want to stretch his images so I adjusted total aspect and added black borders - we are going to do transition frames anyway so this gives a little more artistic opportunity. Thanks for contributing Toots I have your full video frames stored on site as well. |

RE: Primary Images
Thank you kindly GbyP. It would have taken me aeons to figure it all out. But as a cue ball goes I'm still pretty sharp. Can't wait for the show! Is it true that we can submit more images? Are there any themes if so?

Is it true that we can submit more images? Are there any themes if so?Based on numbers of participants and expected images, I'd say we will be 6-12 images short. SO if you would like to make 1-2 more pics I'd say go for it. Regarding themes... good question. Maybe in keeping with the overall arc, shop an image for a favorite person/loved one, an image about your past, or if you could come back, what/who you would be. The other tangent would be to just go the open creativity route - do what you want to do, something you want folk to remember you by. Any other thoughts on this? That's fantastic, ICU ... there are so many details to discover in this image, but they're all integrated.
