Misfit Mayhem III - Round 1 Challenge
"Edible Me"

Create a portrait using only edible fruits and vegetables as your sources!

Though I encourage you to create a "self portrait", it isn't limited to that. You can create a portrait of anyone, real or imagined. Or re-create your favorite movie scene, or even your favorite pet. The main idea is to use only edible fruits and vegetables as your sources for the subject of the portrait. (Background can be from a normal image.)

You can modify the fruits and veggies as needed to create your masterpiece, including warping, bending, colorizing, smudging, exploding, bouncing, folding, stapling, mutilating... Whatever you'd like. It's up to you.

Please submit a source montage when you submit your image. Sources will NOT be posted in line with the contest, only used for basic validation of the image. We'll leave that to the imaginations of your peers until after the round terminates (then you can post them if you'd like).

Submissions will be accepted until 8 PM Pacific (or thereabouts) On Tuesday, March 22. Contest will go live soon after that. Changes can be submitted up to the deadline.

Voting will be done by email with images rated from 1-10 as in previous tournaments (GST 3,4 MMT 1). Voting will continue until 8 PM Pacific Thursday, March 24.

Had to post the challenge a bit early. I'm going to be too busy later.

This forum likes 1000px, so I'd go with that.

On the Main menu atop the board, you will find this: Help
Your answer can be found in the Posting section, topic = Posting Images.

When in doubt, check Help out.

You may have to wait.

I'm having some technical difficulties here. The wireless router seems to have stopped working, so I can't access internet at the moment with my laptop. Plus we're having problems with the well we are drilling.

Please be patient

You be safe... entries can wait... no explosions and no spills.

Any delay means more people can enter... get on it you procrastinators! Now's your chance!

RE: Misfit Mayhem III - Round 1 Challenge
No danger of explosion or spill right now, that part is under control. Other problems though. The main factor here for me is time. If everything was going normal I could take the time to set up the thread, process and upload the images. Right now I'm lucky to be able to post this.

I'm going to delay posting the first round for 12 hours. This will give everyone a little extra time, and I should be able to get it done then.

If anyone would like a little bit more time than that, let me know.

So, don't be looking for the first round to post tonight, it will be in the morning for most of you (evening for me here).
