MOMpp - Read Me First!

MOMpp = Museum of Modern Pixel Pushing- pronounced "Mom"; the "pp" is silent... unlike any actual Pixel Pusher

So much of what we do here is geared toward competition. But clearly there is a joy to photoshopping else you likely wouldn't be reading this. Also, quite a few Squirrels have other artistic skills, whether photography, painting, music, or sculpting. Feel free to share those works, scans of those works, or links (in the case of music) here.

MOMpp is the place Misfit Squirrels showcase** their stuff whether that be:

• personal best,
• favorites,
• classic images from days of yore,
• pixels forged specifically for MOMpp,
• art never shared before,
• public but special,
• works for fun,
• therapy,
• release,
• or plain old artistic merit.[/list:u][/size]In addition to individual galleries, there will be exhibit halls of specific styles or themes where multiple artists can post. These are not contests, just opportunities to share, enjoy, or ask & learn.
  
  ** Individual Gallery Guidelines

• You decide what you post in your gallery, but site guidelines still apply. If you feel something is borderline, don't assume it's not allowed - ask an Admin. I usually don't bite unless provoked, but I do occasionally growl; but sometimes I purr.
• You decide whether you welcome others to post comment in your gallery. If you decide you don't want comments and some are already posted, just notify a Mod or Admin; we can move posts to a Comments Only thread.
• These are Showcase galleries - since you already have an image host, please be reasonable with overall quantity. Be especially mindful of quantity of images per post. Not everyone has hi-speed dial-up and many files in a single post DOES affect page load. It is expected that your favorites may change over time. It's OK to delete or edit old posts - you don't need admin permission to change the content of your gallery.
