Welcome to the Misfit Squirrel Inaugural Colorization H2H Series - Colorize This!

This contest features two of Fark's best colorization artists: Terrapin Bound and Ban Sidhe

Colorization requires much dedication and focused contemplation... the zen masters have requested a May 23rd submission deadline*... the contestants can decide a time.
Voting will be open shortly thereafter and last 3 days.
The winner will be decreed May 26th.

I thought about using a pic from my own collection but they are all shades of green, blue, and gray. Beautiful places, but not exciting colorization fodder. This is free stock fyi.

Nah...I'm good. It's just time-consuming. And keeping that pool leaf-free during the Fall must be a nightmare.

oh, wow... This is beautiful ban_sidhe, Great job! I am really floored by you folk that colorize so well (and often SO fast!). I just noticed - It's funny how they made the columns different between sides, isn't it? Really strange... It just occurred to me that one day when I need to decorate a room, I can just take a B&W pic of it and have a colorize this type contest to see the best color usages! I suppose in such a case there would have to be a cash prize though. Just my $0.06 - no! that's my thoughts worth not a prize! I'm not THAT cheap!

It amuses me that we ended up using so many of the same colors. We could swap some layers between yours and mine and no one would be the wiser!

I tried pastels, but it was a dead end...the subject matter simply screamed out for earth tones!
