Caturday and Dogday - Open Perma-challenge
I like cats. And yes, Fark has it's Caturday but so what? This isn't Fark.

The Lead Misfiteer commands you: Photoshoop or Photo-manipulate (for you clever photographers who can do this without photoshop - I'm looking at you Laz Long and LightGiver) pics of your (or friend's) cats (or dogs - god forbid, I don't want to discriminate heehee) - current or past furry family members.

It would be preferable to create new pics - which is why I put this thread in the Challenge. This will be an Open Challenge with no end date.

Think of this as an experimental thread too - try out new techniques and styles with pics of your furry family members.

NOW HAVE FUN DAMMIT!

Thread is even unlocked now. Icon_albino

Here are samples (not new)... do as i say, not as i do says Fearless Leader! Icon_albino :

We have 2 cats in our household now. My cat - The Kidd - will be 10yrs old in July. His original name was Puffkin. I'm sorry, I can't have a cat named "Puffkin". So now he is The Kidd (we had an older cat at the time). He's a purebred Ragdoll that we acquired from a rescue shelter. We got him when he was 2yrs old; we were his 4th owners... that's so sad and the last owner really abused the poor kid. He's lovable, funny, beautiful, and laid-back - the ultimate surfer dude:

Our other cat is a crazy Torty named Zoot (because she is very naughty and needs a good spanking... I never do, she is too cute). We got her in 2008, fresh from the kitty farm (close - The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, a rescue in Tacoma, WA). It's been awhile since I've had a kitten in the house; we didn't realize that they have been upgraded. Besides generating enough energy to light the house, she can become invisible:

Finally, here is a chop(per) I did for Fark for a liter whose best friend was his cat:

I turned the liter into Rat Fink - some of the oldtimers here may remember the carToon magazines and Big Daddy Ed Roth.

No I'm quite certain you are a good photographer.

The Zoot pic was not a photoshop, just an accidental frame delay. Photographers have tricks like all that HDR stuff.

Someone posted up a picture of their dog Bender (at a different site) and mentioned that he looked like a robot (first picture is untouched), so I threw these out there and it got a polite chuckle.

It's nothing grand, just thought I'd share.

"FURvsREAL"
I already posted some shoops of stucka (norwegian forrest cat, 14yrs still going strong!) in another thread, the poor cat has been subject to many photoshop fun. I used to exchange pictures with my sister starring our cats in well...previous lives (working humiliating jobs..); just for chizz and giggles
(the other cat is a half siamese named Moisjen;involved in fatal caraccident; bless the poor soul)

2.5 sec shutter release and an aperture of about f8...And Zoom during the exposure.
